Karin Hopkinson is a contemporary painter working mainly with oils on canvas. She was born in Helsinki in 1972, matriculated at Oranje Girls High and went on to study BA Fine Arts at the University of the Free State. 

She started her career as a Graphic Designer and moved into the Advertising Industry as a Creative Director. After many years of creating and conceptualising for clients she turned back to her art.
